Holiday home with pool in beautiful landscape near Puntagorda

Casa Mesigresi for up to 3 people (a 4th person on request) is located on a pine-covered property on the Barranco de Izcagua ravine, not far from the popular farmers' market “Mercadillo de Puntagorda”.
Here you are in the right place to relax and enjoy the sea, nature and starry skies of La Palma.
The Mesigresi holiday home offers a bright living room with a high wooden roof, open, modern kitchenette, dining area and sofa bed. In the bedroom with underfloor heating you will find a comfortable double bed, the bathroom with a large shower and large windows overlooking the pine trees. Another bedroom comfortably sleeps 1 person and has a bathroom with washbasin and WC. Alternatively, there is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room.
The property is mostly hidden from view and can be locked with an electronic gate.
There are several terraces, a heated pool, an outdoor shower, sun loungers, a seating area in the shade, a dining area with parasol and solid oak table, fruit trees, a private car park, a covered parking space for bicycles and a wallbox.
You can set off directly from the house.
Either on the canal path or the official GR 130 hiking trail, for example, you can reach Las Tricias and the prehistoric ‘Buracas’ sites, dwelling caves with rock engravings where the indigenous people of La Palma, the Benahoaritas, lived.
In Puntagorda itself you will find a good pizzeria, the aforementioned farmers' market with local produce, wine, cheese, fruit, vegetables and handicrafts, organic food shops and other shops. At Mercadillo (2 km away) there is a tirulina (canopy) at the viewpoint, where you can ride through the Barranco on a rope and see the rugged cliffs, vineyards, almond trees, Canary Island pines and the Atlantic Ocean from a different perspective.
The coast in front of the ravine is a typical example of the habitat of the Canary archipelago with lava fields, gorse groves and endangered species such as the kestrel and the ‘grajas’ (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax).
In summer you can swim in the Atlantic Ocean at various bathing spots, such as the harbour of Puntagorda, but in winter we recommend that you go to Puerto de Tazacorte for safety reasons. The place with the most hours of sunshine in Europe is approx. 25 minutes by car from the accommodation.
